School-Based Speech Therapy Services
Play on Words Speech Therapy is proud to partner with local school districts, preschools, private schools, and after-school programs by providing high-quality speech and reading services. We are a therapist-run company, dedicated to providing expert services tailored to the school’s unique needs.

PUBLIC SCHOOL contracts
We can support local public school districts in their staffing needs for in-person and/or virtual therapists. We are able to work with districts to contract full-time or part-time speech pathologists, as well as provide on-demand support.
PRIVATE SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS
We partner with private schools, preschools, churches, and daycare centers to provide speech therapy and reading intervention on site. We can provide services both during the day and for after-school programs. Services are conveniently provided at the facility, so we come to you!
ON-DEMAND COVERAGE
Services may include maternity leave coverage, caseload overflow, initial evaluations, re-evaluations, or other short-term service needs. We work closely with school districts to ensure that no student is overlooked, and that they receive the individualized attention they require.
SPEECH-LANGUAGE and
literacy SCREENINGS
Screenings are a quick, informal measure of a child’s speech, language, and literacy skills. These are a great way to identify potential delays or difficulties and intervene early. A child may be recommended for a formal evaluation following a screening. If you would like to host screenings at your facility, please contact us!
